Tornadoes fill New Orleans skies,
massive storms before the eyes,
seeking to take homes and lives.
The whistle warning loudly cries.
Two seconds flat this force arrives
and like a freight train load it drives.
Lower ground's where safety lies,
while in the air large debris flies.
To take a life this mean storm tries.
Houses wrecked but no one dies.
Katrina folks make grateful sighs,
and bid the storms their glad goodbyes.
