Sanctuary In Space
"Sanctuary in Space"
whirling through the finite mystery of space galaxy
a golden lightening bolt transcends time barrier
orbiting to Earth penetrating tapestry
arriving to transport my being on an express carrier.
beyond pale cotton candy clouds, evading Planets, swirling past Mars
waving hello to yellow Moon offering satin light
whisking free on gossemar wings, touching stellar stars
gliding toward Shangri-La sailing from Earth's destined flight.
a magical gazebo awaits in white lattice and carved wood
with swing to write love poetry in secret sanctuary
caressed by rose petals beneath dome of Nature's hood
as time stands still and quiet thoughts commence, so exemplary.
pleasant melodies resound as golden leaves cascade
into clandestine stratosphere where love embraces creation
blue velvet waterfalls invade peaked pastel mountains fade
escaping to my space-capade in Paradise elation.
as the depth of distant winds tumble whimsical glow
departure from my destination haunts reality
seeking solace on a different level soothes the flow
to close another chapter in a space journey fantasy.
