Safe In Your Arms

Safe in your arms, we start off slow,
gracefully dancing to and fro.
And gambling on the whims of fate
almost in a hypnotic state,
we wager that true love will show.
And yet, dreams cannot make it so,
there's but one way for me to know,
but that can take time, so I wait,
safe in your arms.
Hold me tight, and do not let go
as the moon bathes us in its glow.
Highly valued in a soulmate,
patience today is a rare trait.
And yet, it allows love to grow,
safe in your arms.
