Sad Dizain

A taste of sandness Why have you come to this lonely old place? What compelled you to take the long journey? Try not to hide behind that pretend face. When you left you were in such a hurry. Sit down and eat from this bowl of curry. The meal I've prepared it has no sweetness. It's been flavoured by years of bitterness Eat every morsel, absorb my heart's pain! Maybe then I can offer forgiveness. Yet nothing will ever remove this stain! Written May 20th, 2016

A poignant poem about the untimely ending of a relationship, Richard... I really like the depth of these words. I also love the effortless nature of the rhyme scheme. Hugs, Angie

The perspective you chose to write this from was powerful ... up close and personal. Not just sadness, but anger, too. A poignant and gripping dizain, Richard.
