Ruth

I
Esther and Ruth
In God's Truth
The Bibles 66
Women author lacks
But these two
Esther and Ruth
But what Truth
About Savior-Redeemer

II
Boaz, Kinsman-Redeemer
Honored Great Provider
Hebrews left corners
Part harvest behind
As reapers wind
Their way, labor
No one beggar
Bible provided this
Ruth came: blessed
Boaz wed Ruth
Lineage: Obed, Jesse,
David through Jesus
Began with grain
Communion yet again!

Scripture, RUTH 2: 10
"Ruth fell at Boaz feet and thanked him warmly. 'What have I done to deserve such kindness?' she asked. 'I am only a foreigner.'"

Commentary/ Application: in Old Testament the kinsman can redeem a slave by paying if he has a family connection, per Hebrew law & custom. Jesus is the ultimate Kinsman-Redeemer, hallelujah. In USA, the kind acts of so many citizens to foreigners have blessed America again & again. I found kindness in Greece & UK, but USA excels in aiding 'aliens'. God bless America & all of us. Amen & amein

Amen Michelle F. & Joe D. You may have had this experience: traveling is fun, but American conveniences, sanitation, ease of access to good water, even restrooms ... Make Americans so glad to be in the Land of The Free. USA has a right to feel it achieved a high standard for most of its citizens, even in small towns. PTL

No matter our names, distance apart, nor status in the Universe~if a heart open to love, we are never Foreigners to God. Reach out to our precious brothers and sisters.... Blessing my friend. Brilliant write!

This is so meaningful about taking in foreigners in their time of need, especially with so many refugees from Ukraine now, a lesson for all to remember~ also that 'ruth' means mercy -
