Notes About The Poem

Acambaro :)

Rubina

Rubina

You are the red frilly gal
Latin from the past with red stained recollections
You have your seekers
All ladies of the night do
Christians by day
Stalkers by night
You talk the talk
So as not to have to lie down
With silence
You laugh because
Nothing matters
Fools buy you drinks
By the city fountain you strut
Destroyed by upbringings of lust
What you lack in culture
You make up for with Diego’s structure
Of illusions falling in polluted streams
Maria laughs
Maria dances
She is free from Rubina's glances
