Winter was over, the snow melted fast,
Fir, pines and cedars grew low near the ground,
Now rarely a bout of rain would fall past.
There beneath wet lush terrain, cones were found.
Water fell below, becoming a rill.
A water song running over harsh rocks,
Jays and finches flying over the hill.
Night Hutch and hawks flew overhead in flocks
We stopped near a licenced large lake nearby,
She knew her hobby and caught a large bass,
Awesome were her eyes that lit like the sky.
How lovely was the lake resembling glass!
The fog high above dissipated fast,
We went to a cabin to cook the fish
Birds played around, eating tasty repast.
So did we with wine and a tasty dish.
