Rock - Paper - Scissors

With scissors, some paper and rock,
He tried hard to make a new clock.
But his efforts all failed,
And, frustrated, he wailed,
‘It ticks but I can’t make it tock.’

Jack, just put the Shue verse in the body of the email. It works easier that way when sending back and forth and sometimes my computer doesn't open attachments. Depends on the format. Love, Carolyn

Wow Jack, so funny your Limerick! I think I'll have to give up writing more comments now because of pain in my hand and arm. Love, Gert

Oh, that's so cute, Jack. Hope the "tock" gets to working for you. LOL I doubt Gert does much "knitting." :) (For some reason I thought PD wanted a poem about poetry for this contest. Anyway, that's the angle I'm taking. Not funny like yours, but a bit sarcastic) Best wishes in the contest! Love, Carolyn
