5/9/2025 for Write Sixteen Beautiful Lines Poetry Contest sponsored by Constance La France

We navigate life's stanza's quirky rhyme, as through obscuring fog we strain to see two well worn roads on the landscape of time. One leads through the mist of what's yet to be, revealing lofty mountains we will climb, and a grown prince and princess, you and me. Images, sometimes false and sometimes true, we discern what will be of me and you. Another lane shows places we have been, where airy mem'ries float and waft through trees. We play the sweet game of remember when, and in the time it takes to sneeze, we wish to do it all over again as reminiscence floats off in the breeze. Right here, these two paths cross under the sun, and this grand time is now, my special one.

I think I've written in this form for a contest, but I don't remember its details. You seem to have done a great job and your poem includes some lovely imagery as well as lovely love! CayCay
