Rituals of an Early Riser
Hum, the early morning’s car, and Fini,
in her usual four o'clock prance,
purrs, between us, two,
before, the alarm can chew,
on that obnoxious chime,
leaving just enough time,
for me, to pontificate,
in wait,
for all rhythm and rhyme,
to renew.
