Rise I Will

Thoughts surface in the middle of the night As I lay awake , watching the ripples On a lake in which I swim Trying to reach the shore in sight I've always had my own time of being on a mission Although this feels like the greatest of all Waves start to rise as I ride them Letting myself fall, then float, then rise again Always focused on the rising.... for I will rise, rise I will!
