"Right Hook" is cyclist jargon for when a car makes a right turn cutting into the path of a cyclist.

Slam. And the beat goes on pounding on ribs temples pulsing words clenched keeping explosions inside adrenaline lines ripping subcutaneous quakes raging and as I fiercely pedal away all I manage is "Have A Nice Day!" 17.11.27 Composed for Lewis Raynes' "Emotional anger, hurt, rage"

Thank you Eve :) this specific event was about the closest near miss of my career, the jolt was so intense I bawled for a good mile. I did make the list with this piece. Hugs!

Haven't rode a bike in ages but this brings to mind when my younger brother was a teenager and almost got hit…the women apologized and said she thought he was a cone! An awesome write for the contest Mo~good luck in it and thank you for commenting on my limericks!~Che :)

Why am I not surprised! Am reminded of the cop's dumbfounded question to the driver that clipped my friend on an orange cruiser with a big ass rear child seat covered in reflective tape "you didn't see 'that' bike?!" la la la! :) xomo!

Up 'n down. Usually 15k and 2-3K elevation gain plus roots 'n rocks. Soon down south — 25k to 50k, sand and rocks, not much elevation:-(

Ceramics :) Used to keep my front brakes squeaky on purpose, as loud as bus squealing bus brakes on command! Could stop on a dime ( needed it too on a courier's wage lol) ;)
