Right Here, Right Now
Slivers of light gray streaks of clouds
Spread across the pink horizon
Where tall black trees stood still
Not a breeze, not a movement
Not a troublesome thought to think
Beauty erased everything this moment
The mind empty as the street once traveled
Not a soul to be seen anywhere
Wildlife spoke from the depth of the woods
Where peace merged with loneliness
---But, freedom won---
To be anything, choose any path,
Travel any direction without worry or doubt
Knowing the timing is just right
In the face of a beautiful sunset
With a breath, of fresh night air
Everything is simple as it should be
--- Right here, right now ---
