Riddle Guess Who
Considered an enigma to many
And from the apple I did bite,
I was sentenced for a crime
But I couldn't put up a fight.
Considered a hero to many
I saved millions of lives?
But now we are more open?
A father that had no wives .
Considered a genius at twenty,
Was I a coward or was I brave ?
In later years I was pardoned,
Now I'm turning in my grave .
A blue plaque in the city
Of where I spent my youth,
Condemned for who I was
As they didn't like the truth.
The irony lies in a fairytale,
Alas that's my second crime,
And if you enjoy your sleuthing
Well, my name lies in this rhyme.
