Richly United

"richly united"

tides roll in and out as I sit and stare
both sun and moon rotate as hours pass by
turning powder blue skies to midnight blue
I see the far and wide I hear crashing waves

this and more as my feet bask in sands of silk
with warmth from the sun all thoughts surface
with light from moonlit stars wishes are made
as they travel way up high I stare once more

the sun starts to sleep the sky is faceless
seagulls escape taking my thoughts with them
leaving in trust behind the moon to take over
one by one I make a wish and lucent stars glow

suddenly the sun rises and whispers through light
telling the tides and far and wide richly unite
