Rhymed Haiku

humble bumble bee
brings pollen from apple tree
to make his honey

he feeds his loved queen
to protect her he gets mean
his stings aren’t funny

a hive is his home
he fills it with honeycomb
for love not money

Very nice rhyme scheme, Joyce, and I love the way you wrote about bees for "What's the Buzz." You had me smiling all the way through. Really like the internal rhyme in the "humble bumble" bee, too. Wishing you success, Joyce! Can't wait to get home Wednesday. Love, Carolyn

Each time I see "What's the Buzz", the Webber-Rice musical "Jesus Christ Superstar" comes to my mind. These three haiku should be admired by Carol.
