Rhett's Farewell
You could never get Ashley Wilkes out of your head.
He is all yours now that Cousin Melanie is dead.
Scarlett, I thought you and I could have a good life.
Your deceit and dishonesty cuts any man like a knife.
You never loved. You just used men when you could.
You are as insensitive as a cigar store Indian made of wood.
I thought we had a chance while Bonnie Blue was around.
Now that she is gone, no love between us can be found.
Well, it is back to Charleston, and I am on my way.
I do not believe you love me and want me to stay.
“Frankly my dear, I don’t give a damn” is all I can say.
Based on the novel "Gone With The Wind" by the late Margaret Mitchell
