'rhapsody of the Forest'

Oh, I love when music and nature blend, into an unbroken rhapsody with no end; for nature will always and ever be my friend, those twittering birds as violins mend; to merge with the wind where peace descends, and here in the forest many hours I spend. __________________________________ June 10, 2020 Excerpt from my poem of Feb 8, 2019 Poetry/Rhyme/'Rhapsody of the Forest' Copyright Protected/ID 19-1259-454-02 All Rights Reserved, 2019, Constance La France Submitted into Brian's Select B Standard Contest, sponsor, Brian Strand Third Place

When I was shipped to Germany during the 1950s, instead of going to church, most Germans went for a family walk in the forest. Certainly more inviting than their bombed-out villages, and much better for their health and sanity. That still works, doesn't it? Aloha! Rico
