Changing the positive to a negative A simple shift of perspective Takes seconds and changes everything But perhaps it's like trying to slide uphill Or replace the apple in the tree It can be visualised but not realised Instead of picturing all we want Perhaps we should be still Drift with the tide to find a shore There is no purpose in purpose Goals that negate the being Things that tether to empty space If the empty space is visualised We aren't shackled to it But moving freely within it Without preoccupation We are open to ideas and sensations To wash over us rather than drown us Letting go, to be held safely Disregarding fit to be made to measure Resting to be awakened
