Revenge

Murder most foul.
All were shocked at the news.
Two vile daggers
pierced their broad chests.
All done quickly.

Jealous husband
would not forget.
Both struck:
blood seeped.

Sirens blared out.
One was saved from death.
It was me.

A shocker! Well penned, Victor. A charmed life. In Italy it use to be no crime. A matter of honor. Was expected.

Such incidents are very common these days. I suppose this is fictional. If it is true, glad you were able to survive. You always give a surprise at the end.

Revenge is not a good thing nor is killing a human being because of the feelings that brought it to the point of a fight. Great expressive work in this short one. It grabbed my attention. Way to go. We hear of such so much on the news today. Sara K
