Rest Now
The sky clouded over
And engulfed his little soul
On that rainy cold grey day
You couldn’t see the tears
On her face for the rain
As she lay her child to rest
In that old dreary cemetery
On that cold dark cloudy day
She put her child to sleep
Under that twisted maple tree
serene breezes still softly serenade
their comforting soothing lullabies
