Resonance Part 2

Please read in sequence with parts 1 and 3 I listened to the talk from the corner The artistic inventions demonstrated How he and his scientist colleague Batted with conversational ease Anything asked of them Instinctively, I knew this man was no threat Not an enquiring love interest Nor lonely Just a soulful person Who I'd made a connection with Despite my knowledge of my nobody status His number and email was written On a piece of art, created by machine One of the inventions I'd been introduced to each person there As if I was part of the plan He said, as I left 'There's a lingering feeling I've known you from another place' I replied I understood And commented on the strangeness Afterwards, I looked him up He's a phenomenal artist Involved in art installations In all the places I've roamed Over the decades Perhaps he puts himself Into those pieces of art And as I've grown and aged Surrounded by piece after piece I got familiar with his resonance I spend a lot of time Feeling out of the line of sight Of all around me Serendipitously I resonated with another And recognised there are kindred spirits
