Repentance

You said you were sorry But did you really mean it You said you loved me But did you really feel it You promised you would be there for me But you broke your promise You said you wouldn't walk away But the next thing I knew You were gone Now you have come back You want forgiveness But my pain is still there It hasn't evaporated away It occurred only a year ago The emotions I felt, the way I was looked down upon by everyone, especially you I appeared to be the jerk of the crowd You appeared to be the jock of the crowd No one believed me You had all the glory But now it's too late I have chosen my fate I don't want to be with you That's the solemn true A piece advice I have for you Appreciate and love what you have because one day it could be gone But I see you didn't learn your lesson You keep on making the same mistakes And once again You ask for repentance
