Repeat

*Please look at my note on last poem. Thanks It's all happening again The phone all, the shock, the trauma and despair I don't know how much more my mind can take But, I will move forward for my friend I am alone, losing the closest friends, I ever had No closure, no goodbye, heaviness again I am haunted as I stumble through the day My mind, flipping pages of my life for hours Unbearable pain, hour to hour repeating Grief consumes me like a tidal wave As I struggle to swim, keep my head above water It is cold, so cold, as memories unfold Heidi Sands 10/3/23

a wonderful poem that addresses your pain so well that I could feel it. Sometimes grief does consume us 'like a tidal wave.' I'm sincerely sorry for your loss. I understand.
