Remembrance

For it seems like yesterday, but tomorrow will be 14 years. Our nation under attack, our soil penetrated by sadists. Moment by moment our nation cried for the brave men and women who were in harm's way. We hung our heads in collective disbelief, then folded our hands in hopeful prayer. Many made it to safety... some paid the ultimate price. The images horrified us, the senseless killing angered us, 9/11 brought us together. So many sacrifices so many lives so many stories. We pause to remember and to reflect, humbled by this devastating loss, stronger because of our faith. We must never forget.
