This is not me but a picture from the internet. My parents had already raised their family but adopted me on their twenty-fifth wedding anniversary. The adoption was not finalized for a year though.
October a month of remembrance for me
Mother has a birthday about the middle
Then daddy and her wed you must see
Their twenty-fifth anniversary riddle
Mother has a birthday about the middle
Just before they bring me home from Lanett

An eighteen month old girl is what they did get

An eighteen month old daughter is what they did get
