I remember when . . . I lost my father, suddenly He was a man of quotes and sayings Dad, was my rock and my foundation Now, part of my heart is ever missing I remember when . . . I lost my mother, so sick She was warm, kind and so loving Mom, was my best friend, my anchor Now, part of my heart is ever missing I remember when . . . Very sad and I do understand why. Living without both parents had to take something away from you. But I pronouce the joy to prevail against the saddness. Nice work letting it out is great for the soul.and gives you healing

This is a supremely sad write by you, one that is quite effective for this contest! I know you like to write this kind of poetry my friend, and you are so good at it too! I really enjoyed reading this poem this afternoon! What a powerful piece Great Work!!
