Remember When

When memories glow like luminous fireflies and sunsets become another red thread on the horizon It is your pictures that lay on my heart's altar scattered about left as tokens of a time when love was you and I was aflame shinning on the shadows of your needs To what end do you haunt me so Is it the desire to feel my soul float endlessly again or to relive the passion of human endeavors that warmed a night as we mingled with distant stars above us when we laid upon the farthest hill covered in purple asters to abandon the world with love's last breath turned sweet sighs that drifted away as whispers following moonbeams that gave form to our silhouettes merging with a black sky where a star fell, crossing the horizon etching a trail that burned an image in the eyes leaving a sense of awe from a moment of perfection 5/23/20

Another melancholy romantic poem that tugs gently at the heartstrings Frederic. It is so beautiful! The music adds to this synergistically, and divinely. Thank you for this gem! Blessings xxoo
