Rejoice
recovery
discovery
from apathy to elation
no more need for self predation
self-destructive immolation
phoenix rising from a pyre
discovering suppressed desire
daring things you never could
joyful walks through verdant woods
a hand to climb up from the pit
not quite sure what to make of it
except to sing with newfound voice
rejoice
again, I say
rejoice!
