Regret of the Magi

The three wise magi started from far,
Following the trail of the bright star.
But soon the star was veiled,
By dark clouds and they wailed-
"We should have come by a taxi car"

Ahhh!! I often wonder how many wise men there really were. We know it wasn't just one because the Bible says men. Then there were three gifts which leads us to believe there were at least three and each brought a gift to Jesus, but could it have been that several went together and bought each gift because they were quite expensive. I like the twist at the end to add some humor. Thanks for sharing this one with us. If for a contest, it reads like a winner to me. Way to go. Sara K
