Reflections.

Eyes are the mirrors of the world
Reflecting life as it passes by
Like a flag in the wind unfurled
by emotions and feelings, wild
thoughts of love that hurt and die
Crushing  the heart of woman or child

Look deep you will see my love
reflected, in the moon and stars
sparkling with honesty, above
my heart reaches out and cries.
Why is living so cruel this far
Why has love given up to lies

Eyes are the mirrors of the world
