Reflecting

I 
wonder
if poems
birthed from my soul
might be - like my days on this earth - numbered.

Days are fleeting, yet in the sky I see
infinity,
and so I
make a 
wish.

May
poems
reflect my
mind boundlessly
like those stars that illuminate the night.

My sister was cured 14 years ago. As always, she is unstoppable! ... As for running out of poems I feel that way every day. Sometimes, reading back what I wrote that day convinces me I have! I post it anyway!

I just read in the blogs about your breast cancer. I am amazed how you keep so many tasks going in your life. I have been having back trouble and it is a chore to try to keep going with the contests and I see how you just keep going with all of your various interests, chores and duties. My best to you. thanks, Joyce, I have always been very energetic and I honestly feel NO different at all since I had cancer. Supposedly i am cancer free again and will just be doing radiation as safeguards. YOU are to be admired for how you keep going and going!!

Hi sweetie... wonderful musings over here, but yes I detect a tinge of sadness mixed in here (or maybe it's how I read it?) -- still very beautiful and I like how you likened your poems to stars-- they really do shine....
