You are gifted at saying so much in a few lines! Just yesterday I an older Indian gentleman was explaining me how the old Indian, Persian, Afghan poets were experts at that! :)

I've been on a number of poetry sites Paul, but this one is simply the best :-) here comes Tina Turner !!! The resources on offer here are brilliant too. The members are very supportive here also, its a nice positive community.

You got it right, Iris:) It's a Japanese form which goes back ca 1600 AD. I'm glad you like it; Thank you; it's a form which can be used with ease. ~ Regards // paul

Not sure what a Dodoitsu is, but this was good. We all want to spread inspiration while at the same time be inspired. It can be difficult, at times, when the interests vary. Congrats on the win, by the way.

I would rather have one genuine comment than cookie cutter cut and paste comments Paul I have seen positively pornographic poems given the cookie cutter treatment welcome to soup treatment so I know they aren't read!:-( hugs Jan xx

I know what you mean, Jan. I don't read too many poems at one go because I enjoy a nice slow read and be able to comment as well. Also, I always reciprocate when someone comments on any of my poems. Hugs // paul

Thank you, Connie, both for the feedback and the high rating. I know what you mean about comments. Also, sometimes I happen to read a really good poem, and am surprised that there are hardly any comments on it! No wonder some writers get discouraged. ***All the best ... paul

Dear Eileen, you have always been very supportive and I truly appreciate it. But I speak not for myself; I cannot grumble for I am treated well. Yet I often read poems which have had very few visits and no comments, and I feel for them. There is a list of little read uncommented poems which I hope readers will stop to read. Hugs // paul
