neural chaos looks like scratches the casual bystander may step back in horror fearing a deadlock standoff unaware every angle works perfectly no one dies I'm so confident ~ I place the whole shebang next to glass nothing shatters or splinters please write that down from time to time, the fires aren't needed but nothing is wasted these close quarters make understanding difficult step back, step out a while check in later, if it all implodes, well ~ then you win

Enjoyed riding the dragon of this fine write DD... letting my mind surf your lines was a welcome interlude to my otherwise semi monotonous but satisfying day...thanks again! jimbo

Well Jimbo, you're welcome! Poems have to have a run about and find their feet sometimes. I think I'll just remove the word 'draft' and call this one finished. It's staked it's claim on the page and doesn't seem like it wants to be messed with. Thanks for your visit :)

Dear DD, Okay this is truly electrifying. Controlled chaos blended with sharp confidence. Quite a conundrum! I would say there’s a defiant brilliance in your words, a challenge wrapped in precision. Every line crackles with energy, daring the reader to look closer at the painting and words. Bold, enigmatic, and utterly compelling! Winter Blessings, My Friend, Daniel

Haha electrifying indeed! :) this was a very quick write but I loved the neural chaos line that came out of nowhere, so didn't want to leave it in drafts. I love poems that surprise me despite the fact I'm writing them :) thank you for your exciting review :)

You have me all spaced out again Dilly? Stepping back I see a Type ll supernova imploding and exploding all at once, indeed nothing is wasted, I’m pretty sure this phenomenon happens inside our heads as well, the reader is the real winner here, brilliant Exphrasis and a Fave because no one died in the process, cheers David

Hurray! Thanks for the fave :) I had to question myself when I looked at a bunch of flowers and wrote neural chaos down haha - had a bit of a google and the image does indeed look similar. However, the interesting thing is neural chaos isn't actually a bad thing and leads to creative thought incorporating multiple, variable levels of nuance. It's complex and intricate. The synchronicity between brains and space is intriguing :) I'm still wondering how I thought of the expression though, I didn't even realise I'd heard of it. I'm not sure that's what Marc Chagall was thinking of when he made the lithograph. Thanks again :)
