Reaching Out
Thinking of you, my friend,
wanting to ease your pain.
Picking up pieces to mend,
to see you whole again.
Life is coming at you,
relentless and too fast.
Not much to do,
before the issue is past.
The distance between us is far.
But know that I am always here.
I wish for you upon a star.
That you feel my presence is near.
I will do all that I can do,
so you will not feel alone.
My heart reaches out to you.
To find and connect with your own.
I send good thoughts from me to you.
What you search for, I will try to find.
Please tell me what it is I can do.
For you to once again know peace of mind.
