*Inspired by the photo Lost without you, where do I go? I am alone with the ocean's flow My toes dipped in water and sand Clinging to the last of the land I was not alone with you here When you died, I was left with fear Chasing me like the waves crashing On the rocks like fury thrashing I came here hoping to face it To overcome pain, where I sit Rays of light have come through the gray There you are, I feel you today I will lift my head and stand high Our strength has reached me from the sky Heidi Sands 4/5/18

Your words depict her loneliness just as the photo shows..but then you transform the feeling with a turn in your poem: Rays of light have come through the gray There you are, I feel you today I will lift my head and stand high...well written, Heidi.

Great correlation, interconnection with the picture, Heidi. I especially like the lines, "Chasing me like the waves crashing... On the rocks like fury thrashing". ..And I always like a positive ending. :) ~ Artsie
