Rare Occasion
Rare Occasion
Did you watch them come, my darling
As I waited here alone?
Twenty two of them in total
Who were of our flesh and bone.
Thirty six folks altogether
Came for egg hunt and good dinner.
Not a single one was missing.
I proclaim the day a winner.
Everyone who owes existence
To the union that we had,
Except the three who are now with you.
You’d be such a proud granddad.
The youngest was but three weeks,
The eldest I won’t say.
Every single one was happy,
It was such a festive day.
