random

I'm just walking back from school Swapping the scooter arm to arm Captured by the expression "Random Stranger" I forget the instigator of the thought And my steps count down til I'm home To let go of my thoughts to tune into others Just momentarily everything felt random Every person I know transient Equated importance only by the split second of meaningfulness I'll take some breaths Reflect on eating chocolate for breakfast Settle into my day Until the next time
