Rainy Days and Mondays

I won’t be complaining, though it’s Monday and raining. My key to maintaining a good outlook is reading a book, a mystery, as--settled and comfy--I find that the sounds of rain and soft music make reading more pleasant. However, this winning trio--novel, rain, and music—will, almost without fail, put me to sleep within an hour. When I wake up, I will have coffee and maybe write a poem if I’m inspired.
