Raindrops On Roses

Raindrops on roses last night, what a storm it blew. My garden got a great bath, looking clean and new. Roses wanting sun, their faces are shining up. Rose garden is done.

Paula, I can visualize your garden with roses, all washed clean by the rain. Here in my place, it rains cats and dogs, these days. This is the season when roses bloom in bunches. Unfortunately all my roses are drooping down with the weight of rain drops. A lovely poem. All the best dear friend.

beautifully done, Paula. You captured the beautiful but fragile nature of flowers. Ours are barely surviving the heat. Anyway, best wishes with the contest, hugs, Sara

Dear Paula, I think it feels like a little morning stroll after the rain with fresh air, wet petals, and that softness in the world after a storm. I could almost smell the roses just reading it. I love how you make the rain feel like a gift instead of a bother a free bath for the garden, leaving everything “clean and new.” Blessings, My Dear Paula, Daniel

What a charming and uplifting piece of writing! The blooms, anew, received their tender draught, a soft embrace of the earth's bounty.
