Raindrops pour down their nourishing flow
Capturing the light in a reflection that glows
Cause my life is made up of gentle delights
Which inspire me to love and also, to write
Did you ever hear of such strength and might
Encouraging the heart to reach out its hope
For the ones who need to find a friend to cry
With when they are down and out, without
Inspiration or insight, feelings of reassurance
And melancholy has gripped them with its
Breath of despair and grief, furious doubts
Fears that leave them without much purpose
With only feelings that cause so much worry
Raindrops fall across the spirit, keeping the
Rays of sun from enlightening or inviting
How a feeling of assurance that awakens the mind
To the grace that fills up the inner person
And reminds us why we were born on this
Earth, to love, to give, to have the chance to live
With mercy and peace, the love that reaches
Out to others with its gentle faith, its belief
That God will give His blessings in the raindrops
As well as the sunshine and flowers, the hours
Of serenity that fill up the soul with a knowing
That tomorrow will bring more joy that we’ve
Ever known, a joy that welcomes the Son!
God bless everyone!
