Rainbow Faerie and Her Tiger

Rainbow faerie brought her guardian to the picnic. Everyone had been eager to speak with her. Her guardian was a large tiger. She was eager to show him off. He was a beauty, and so tender-hearted and good! Most elves, brownies and faeries kept their distance. She complained to her mother about the lack of companionship. Did you take your tiger with you? Her mother asked. Oh, no. Do you think that was it? Her mother said to her father “you are right. Pretty, but….”

Hmmm...this teaches me that some of my friends can be off-putting to others. That is true. Sometimes some people might not want to get acquainted with us because of whom we associate with. I say, okay, fine....

I tell my friends to compartmentalize me away from the people whom I do not like - there were three of them in the world, but one died.
