From Web MD/Google A rainbow baby is a term for a baby born after a pregnancy loss. The name draws on the symbol of the rainbow, representing beauty after a time of darkness.

A rainbow baby is one born after the mother has lost an infant like stillborn or of natural causes like sudden infant death syndrome (SIDS) and thus the baby born afterwords is known as a rainbow baby. My cousin is one. ;0)
