Notes About The Poem

Quote Me Rumi

I’m seething. My silence masks my feelings PLEASE leave me alone. I’m like a volcano waiting for the eruption - don’t push me, don’t force the issue, you can’t see into my heart or mind. Just give me space to come back down to earth ‘When I am silent I have thunder hidden inside’ Rumi Etheree form - 55 syllables 02~12~15

I can identify with this Jan. When I am very silent my kids and husband know I am really angry. Like you have said in your poem, some time and space help most to calm down. Congratulations on your wonderful win Jan!

Very expressive, Jan. Even your Etheree looks like a volcano ready to blow, and your words, full of fuel. This should do well for the contest! Hugs, Sandra
