Questions

Listen to poem:
If you could ask one question of the dead What would it be? How are you? Or do you miss me? The times you were here And the times you’re not Have not diminished You from my thoughts I still remember I still reminisce I still keep the memories Of the good times I miss Did you see all you wanted to see ? Or do what you wanted to do ? In the end did you see your own peace through ? did you have regrets in the end ? do you have thoughts of eternal love you'd like to send ? Or are these to many questions for you in your peace ? do you want me to be quiet and simply cease ? I wonder sometimes what's it's like for the dead do they ever regret things left unsaid ? for me and my thought I offer not what was or will be I humbly ask that when its my time To graciously accept me The lost and alone resting under my stone an eternal marker rotting to the bone ready for judgement for the seeds I've sown Eric (and sometimes not)
