Questioning
QUESTIONING . . .
What right have I to ask for forgiveness
It is my own fault, I have made mistakes
Hit with the hand of God in his swiftness
As left to wallow, as on me, He, forsakes
It is my own fault, I have made mistakes
In my own shadow, of misunderstanding
As left to wallow, as on me, He, forsakes
To my own design to be over demanding
In my own shadow, of misunderstanding
I have verily overtaxed my quest O' Lord
In my own design, to be over demanding
Angered you, as cut my own mortal cord
I have verily overtaxed my quest O' Lord
As questioned to your truthful existence
Angered you, as cut my own mortal cord
As; to be shot down, for my persistence
As questioned to your truthful existence
My lifetime spent on a wasted endeavour
As; to be shot down, for my persistence
Thus you left me totally forsaken forever
My lifetime spent on a wasted endeavour
Hit with the hand of God in his swiftness
Thus you left me totally forsaken forever
What right have I, to ask for forgiveness
