Notes About The Poem

When contenment is sought without gratitude for what we have and who we are there is no peace.

Quest For Contentment

Dying now, those that dared to live only in the warmth of the morning sun. Fearless and hard, whose battle is their egocentric wings of betrayal.
Always seeking, spiraling into the darkness of the abyss, lost in perpetual flight.

"To find contentment"
seeking without acceptance
peace cannot survive

For sure, too many see the world with themselves at the center, forgetting that God is the Core (Source) of all wealth of being -- believing in Him, and abiding in His Presence, are our wings to true immortality and greatness.
