Promises
PROMISES
flung far ahead
towards an uncertain future
secretly hidden
in drawers,
now antique
bravely defended
'till perilous end
forgotten in shadows
like ice melts to water
built
brick by brick
with fragile
intentions
wish upon wish
mirage in the desert
echoes the answers
from
far away
here
