Privileged Feet

Damn your feet that crushed and squashed thousands of grapes in the pool!
While we only have eaten those purple drupes in our wildest dreams
And did you just say you would make wine from those feet-ground fruits?

"Grapestompers"-That is what some people call Italian girls. This is a good write and I see Nette liked it so much, she picked it number one in her contest. Congratulations!

yes this never sounded very appealing to me either LOL maybe the yeast on peoples feet helped the wine ferment? Congrad's Light & Love

GLEN!!... thanks for entering my contest...just a sweet reminder: Sijo hasthree long lines. Each line varies between 14 and 16 syllables, with the middle line often the longest. The first line states a theme, the second line counters it, and the third line resolves the poem... so much potential here; perhaps we may want to check syll count.. will you??? salamat!.. :) huggs!
