There is an old graveyard, silent, menacing
Where many have gone but never been seen again
We wondered if the inhabitants saw them trespassing
And gave them no chance to ever live or reign
Spider webs cover the graying entrance at night
It is filled with old graves of prisoners, criminals
Those who know the story believe there is no light
To show the dark demons they’ve been seen by witnesses
Moonlight reflects off the graves, destroying hopes
It is assured that once entering here there is none
Hearts who see this place come to the end of ropes
Hanging by their necks until dead, it’s all over, done
In the black skies there is seen a hint of a star
The only reminder that somewhere is something good
On this horrible eve, a reminder remains that afar
There lives the possibility of reclaiming the neighborhood
